Grey's Anatomy star Caterina Scorsone is pregnant, Entertainment Weekly reports.

This will be the second child for Scorsone and her husband, Rob Giles, who are already parents to daughter Eliza, 4.

Scorsone, who plays Amelia Shepherd on Grey's, tells EW that she doesn't expect her pregnancy will be written into the show. "Last time they wrote my pregnancy in, and I think Shonda [Rhimes] is going to give me a break on this one," Scorsone told EW, referencing the fact that her previous pregnancy was written into Private Practice.

VIDEO: Who said it -- Taylor Swift or Meredith Grey?

She also added that she doesn't expect producers want to "burn through" Amelia and Owen's (Kevin McKidd) romantic storyline, though the fictional couple (who got married in the most recent season finale) has discussed having children on the show. But it sounds like they'll have plenty of other obstacles to deal with in Season 13.

"The rapidity with which they got married is going to be a piece of their story," Scorsone tells EW. "Now they have to figure out how to be married. That's a big question for anybody, let alone two people who are deeply wounded. A lot of their story this year will be negotiating this whole different dynamic, sharing a life and being vulnerable when you're terrified of all of that stuff. ... I hope we get to explore how complicated and messy and sexy marriage can be."
