Box Office: Bad Grandpa Sails Past Gravity

Gravity's run as the top movie at the Box Office has ended after three weeks, withJackass spin-off Bad Grandpa debuting in first place this weekend with $32 million,Box Office Mojo reports.

Gravity landed in second place with $20.3 million in its fourth week. Captain Phillipsalso fell one spot to No. 3 after bringing in $11.8 million.

Bubble Shows: Which will survive?

Ridley Scott's The Counselor flopped in its opening weekend, finishing in fourth place with a mere $8 million in earnings. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 held steady at No. 5 with a $6.1 million haul. It narrowly edged out the remake of Carrie, which fell three spots in its second weekend to No. 6 with $5.9 million.

At No. 7 was Escape Plan with $4.3 million. After opening in more than 100 additional theaters in its second week, 12 Years a Slave shot up eight spots to eighth place, bringing in $2.15 million.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Enough Said (No. 9, $1.55 million) and Prisoners (No. 10, $1.1 million).
