From Piano Man to Piano Dad (Again): Billy Joel and Girlfriend Are Expecting

Billy Joel will have something new to sing about soon. The musician and his girlfriend Alexis Roderick are expecting their first child together, US Weeklyreports. The baby is due sometime this summer.

This will be the second child for Joel, 65, and the first for financier Roderick, 33. The couple has been dating since 2009, following Joel's split with his third wife, Katie Lee.

Joel also has daughter Alexa Ray Joel, 29, with ex-wife Christie Brinkley. Prior to his marriage to Brinkley, Joel was married to Elizabeth Weber Small in the 1970s and early 1980s.

Joel is best known for his incendiary piano-based pop songs, including "We Didn't Start the Fire," "Uptown Girl," and "Piano Man." He hasn't released an album since 2001, but has been playing concerts around the country. He's also scheduled to co-headline the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in June.
