Apparently someone was a big fan of HBO's recent TV movie Behind the Candelabra!

Bill Murray returned to the Late Show with David Letterman on Thursday to help ring in the show's 20th anniversary, and boy did he make an entrance!

Just like Liberace, played by Michael Douglas in the telepic, Murray was brought out on stage in a vintage white luxury car to grand applause. Decked out in an all-white outfit complete with a long fur coat and lots of glitter, Murray exited the car and handed off his dog to his chauffer. "I had to get something that went with this outfit," Murray joked to David Letterman about his furry friend.

Who earns what: David Letterman and more of TV's highest-paid stars

Thursday marked Murray's 26th appearance on the Late Show. Murray was also Letterman's first guest on the debut episode back in 1993, and Letterman's first guest when he became the inaugural host of NBC's Late Night in 1982. Check out the sneak peek below and tune in Thursday night for Murray's appearance:

Late Show with David Letterman airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on CBS.
