The Biggest Loser winner Rachel Frederickson is speaking out for the first time about the firestorm surrounding her drastic weight loss.

"Maybe I was a little too enthusiastic in my training to get to the finale," she tells People. Frederickson, 24, revealed her new size 0-2 figure on last week's finale to the visible shock of the show's trainers, as well as viewers at home. The 5'4" voice actress now weighs just 105 pounds, which puts her below the normal Body Mass Index. However, Frederickson denied that she has an eating disorder when asked point blank. "I am very, very healthy," she says.

More dramatic celebrity weight loss

Although series trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels refused to comment on Frederickson's new physique, her trainer, Dolvett Quince, says he was "shocked" by her physical transformation. "The first thing that went through my mind was, 'That's just too much,'" he tells the magazine.

However, Biggest Loser producers also insist that they carefully monitored Frederickson, who was at a starting weight of 260 pounds, throughout the seven-and-a-half month process. "Rachel passed all the required medical tests ensuring she was healthy," executive producer Dave Broome says.

What do you think of Frederickson's comments?
