Bachelor in Paradise's Carly Waddell and Evan Bass Welcome Baby Girl

Carly Waddell and Evan Bass, who met on Bachelor in Paradise in 2016, welcomed their first child together early Friday morning. "Isabella Evelyn Bass born at 1:58 6 pounds and 8 ounces 18 3/4 inch long! Everyone is healthy and happy -- super smooth pregnancy!" Bass told Us Weekly.

Isabella is Waddell's first child. Bass has three sons from a previous marriage.

How Waddell and Bass got together is a classic weird Bachelor story. Waddell didn't like Bass at all at first, but then he faked a medical emergency as a way to get her to spend time with him. Against all odds, it worked and they got engaged at the end of the season. The pair got married in June of last year during Bachelor in Paradise with a televised ceremony officiated by Chris Harrison. Waddell found out she was pregnant just a few days later while they were still in Mexico.

They live in Nashville.
