Pretty Little Liars' Ashley Benson took to Instagram on Tuesday with a problem:

"Help! Can't decide on my Halloween costume this year," she posted, asking her followers to comment on a lion costume. The question seems pretty harmless, except her original post was a little bit different.

"What do you guys think of this Cecil the lion costume?" she wrote before taking down the caption when commenters started to call her out for the insensitivity. Earlier this summer, 13-year-old Cecil the lion, a protected animal in Zimbabwe that was outfitted with a GPS tracker, gained worldwide attention after his tragic death at the hands of a Minnesota dentist who killed him with a crossbow.

The outfit is sold by the company Yandy, with an impressive $149.95 price tag. They also sell another Cecil the lion costume. Yes, that is what it's called. Both lion costumes come with the label that claims part of the proceeds will be given to an unnamed "Global Conservation Organization."

Benson joins other stars who've chosen poorly when it comes to Halloween costumes. Two years ago, Dancing with the Stars pro (now judge) Julianne Hough drew criticism when she dressed in blackface to portray Orange Is the New Black character "Crazy Eyes."
