Hail to the king, baby!

On Friday, Starz announced at Comic-Con that its new original series, Ash vs Evil Dead, will premiere on the most appropriate of nights: Halloween. The panel included star and executive producer Bruce Campbell, co-star Lucy Lawless, and executive producers Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, Ivan Raimi and Craig DiGregorio.

The sequel to the Evil Dead film franchise picks up with S-Mart stock boy Ash (Campbell), whose chainsaw for a hand and devil-may-care attitude is the result of fighting off the Evil Dead 30 years ago. Unfortunately, he's forced to rev up the chainsaw once again when the Deadites rear their ugly heads.
