Anne Hathaway on Les Miserables Haircut: "I Looked Like My Gay Brother"

Playing the role of Fantine in the upcoming film adaptation of Les Miserables required Anne Hathaway to lose 25 pounds and spend months with a vocal coach so that she could actually sing live during takes. Oh, and then there's the matter of that haircut.

"When I eventually looked in the mirror I just thought I looked like my gay brother," Hathaway said last week at a New York screening of the movie, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Hathaway, who's already getting Oscar buzz (no pun intended) for the role, wore a hairpiece for her September wedding to cover her super-short locks.
