In the film Angels Sing, the actor-crooner and new American Idol judge will join the hallowed tradition of Christmas kill-joys as Michael Walker, a man whose holiday spirit is severely lacking. Apparently, he had a traumatic incident in his past that still affects him 30 years later, and sadly, his loving wife (Connie Britton), son (Chandler Canterbury) and neighbors are suffering for it.
