American Idol. Top 5. Two performances from contestants, one from Adam Lambert, and one from Empire's Yazz and Jussie Smollett. Too-young country singer Tristan McIntosh got cut, and she was the weakest performer remaining. La'Porsha, Trent, Dalton, Sonika and MacKenzie made it through to the Top 5. Adam Lambert showed why he's been one of the most successful Idol alums. Harry Connick Jr. made a fart joke.

Let's get to the non-La'Porsha and Trent highlights, because at this point you can assume those two will be great and the other kids deserve their time in the spotlight.

Sonika Vaid

Sonika Vaid - Top 5 Revealed: "Let It Go"

Sonika Vaid can't hold it back anymore, belting out Demi Lovato's version of "Let It Go".

Sonika turned in her best performance of the season with "Let It Go" from Frozen. She's always been one of the best singers this season, but her showmanship hasn't always matched her competitors. In this first round performance, though, she killed it, thanks to some powerful high notes and an assist from the wind machine.

Dalton Rapattoni

Dalton Rapattoni - Top 5 Revealed: "The Sound of Silence"

Hello darkness, and hello, Dalton Rapattoni!

Dalton is this season's most cerebral performer by far. He did a well-enunciated rendition of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence" that culminated in him sitting down criss-cross-applesauce as the lights above him dimmed, leaving him just in silhouette. It was a cool, very Dalton effect.

Adam Lambert is the highest-earning American Idol of 2015

Adam Lambert Performs "Welcome to The Show" feat. Laleh

Adam Lambert is ever the ringmaster as he debuts his catchy single "Welcome to The Show" featuring Laleh.

Adam Lambert debuted a new single called "Welcome to the Show" that features somebody named Laleh. Laleh didn't have much charisma, but Adam had enough for both of them. I was worried the pyrotechnics were going to set his hair on fire though. He seemed close enough to that they could catch his fumes.

La'Porsha Renae

La'Porsha Renae - Top 5 Revealed: "No More Drama"

La'Porsha Renae wants "No More Drama" as she takes on Mary J. Blige.

Haha, just kidding! La'Porsha was too amazing to not include. Her version of Mary J. Blige's "No More Drama" made everybody cry, especially her. The performance came from a very true emotional place. Jennifer Lopez gave her a standing ovation. It was incredible. Goosebumps.

Great week! Next week is Sia week, and we'll get our Final Four.
