ABC Renews General Hospital

All My Children and One Life to Live may have bitten the dust, but ABC's stalwart General Hospital will be back for at least one more season, Deadline reports.

ABC shifted the soap from its 3 p.m. timeslot two years ago to make room for Katie, which has now been canceled.

The announcement that General Hospital will continue comes the same week as CBS and NBC announced the renewals of The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful and Days of Our Lives.

As far as All My Children and One Life to Live, there's no word on when production on those soaps — which moved exclusively online last year — will resume.
