Weeds Alum Romany Malco to Star in Kevin Hart's ABC Comedy Pilot

Romany Malco has been tapped to star in Kevin Hart's ABC comedy pilot, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Based on Hart's life and stand-up, this untitled comedy asks the question: Can a man and woman ever truly be friends ... after they're divorced? The Weedsalum will play Derek, a personal trainer and something of an entrepreneur who is devoted to his children.

Hart will executive-produce the pilot alongside Neil Goldman and Garrett Donavan, best known for their work on Community.

Malco's other credits include The 40 Year Old Virgin and No Ordinary Family.
