NBC is close to ordering a seventh and final season of 30 Rock, Deadline reports.

The comedy, starring Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin, has closed deals with key writers, including co-executive producers Jack Burditt and Josh Siegal & Dylan Morgan. The comedy's writers room will also return for what would be a 13-14 episode final season.

Save These Shows: 14 bubble shows we hope will survive

Baldwin, who has two Emmys for his portrayal of NBC boss Jack Donaghy, has been vocal in recent months about the show's end date and even tweeted about leaving NBC last month. Star and creator Fey did not deny those rumors when she appeared on The View. "I think that he just maybe means that the end of the show ... is visible on the horizon," she said.

30 Rock won the Emmy for Best Comedy Series three times. Fey has also won one Emmy for her portrayal of TGS head writer Liz Lemon.
