Premise: The 22nd annual music fete, which honors the year's best videos, features Sean “Diddy” Combs as host. Acts include Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Coldplay, Green Day, 50 Cent, the Killers, Ludacris, Shakira, Kanye West, R. Kelly and My Chemical Romance. Green Day, who led the nominees with eight nods, won seven trophies. Appearing as presenters: Usher, Joss Stone, Snoop Dogg, Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Alba. From Miami.
