Hondo Harrelson is a police lieutenant in charge of the LAPD's Special Weapons and Tactics squad in this ultraviolent spin-off from `The Rookies.' Harrelson and four officers under his command---all armed to the teeth---move from one hairy situation to another in a tricked-out van. In 2003, Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Farrell teamed up for a big-screen version of the series.
Season 2, Episode 14
Anne Francis guest stars as millionairess Doris Bristol, whose bodyguard, Joe DeLeon is slain after he spots criminal Frank Malloy posing as a dying patient. Hondo and his men, who are at the hospital putting together a Christmas party is the children's ward, find themselves on duty when the discovery of DeLeon's body leaves Mrs. Bristol unprotected and in apparent jeopardy.
