There were few options for '60s rock fans to see their heroes on TV, and this was among the best. Episodes featured such titans as the Beatles, the Beach Boys, the Byrds, the Everly Brothers and the Rolling Stones. Semi-regular players included such in-demand instrumental stars as James Burton and Leon Russell, and among the most frequent pop performers were Glen Campbell and Bobby Sherman. One of its regular dancers was Teri Garr.
