This independent short film is based on an actor who suffers from an identity crisis with his film noir private detective character, whom I shall fondly refer to as - The Mole (his character actually wears a facial mole). In this insane paradoxical world, everything is superficial - just as is a facial mole and the 'No Mole, No Role' syndrome! We exaggerate the same as you experience the cruel fist of fate for all actors - like toothpaste, they get squeezed out and replaced with a new tube. So we now reside in a film noir world where alter egos take over. A private detective is obsessed with a case of mistaken identity. He is in love with a virgin who has been kidnapped by the evil mob boss and his henchman. The bad guys scheme to get rid of the private dick by hiring an assassin to take care of him. At the same time, a mysterious man lurks in the shadows, watching his every move. Racing against time, the private dick has to rescue the love of his life and get out of this filthy town. Several elements of the genre are present here: the sultry femme fatale, the private dick who sips scotch from a dirty glass, the scheming mob boss, the henchman who knows too little, the assassin who knows too much, mistaken identity and double cross, shocking-though possibly nonsensical-plot turns, despair, lust, blood violence, and the cruel fist of fate. Finally, lurking in the shadows behind all this is the menacing figure of the killer. And what does he do? Why, he does what all killers do: he kills. Enough said, SALIL JASON MOTION PICTURES proudly presents a short film titled THE MOLE, where you'll never guess the ending... even after you've seen it! watch

Mega Buzz on Heroes, Criminal Minds and More!

Please tell me we haven't seen the last of David Anders as Adam Monroe on Heroes. — StacieMatt Mitovich: No, Heroes fans have not seen the last of Anders. And that's the truth. (Now would you be so kind as to tell my sons that good things come to those who say please?)Newly converted "vitch" here. Think you could dig up some scoop on Bones or Criminal Minds for me? — LaurenMitovich: "Vitch"? Really? Hmm. There's Bones buzz in the new Mega Minute vodcast. As for Minds, remember the SUV that went kablooey in the finale? It belonged to a main character, and he will emerge "impaired" as a result. Have you heard anything about when BSG will return with the final episodes? – AnnaMitovich: The bad news: No sooner than January 2009, Ron Moore told us just last week. The good news: There is talk of getting a "bonus" 11th hour in that batch. A Sci Fi rep deftly responds, "As written by Ron, the phenomenal finale script extends beyond the time allotted for the episode. We're ex... read more
