Five months after CMT broke up with Miss America, the TLC cable channel has acquired rights to the super-smiley event, and will air it for the next three years starting Jan. 26, live from the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.According to the Hollywood Reporter, TLC will also launch a reality series in conjunction with the pageant, which will follow the 52 wannabes as they ready for the delicious catfight competition. read more

Nelson, who has dedicated her reign to promoting Internet safety for kids, posed in chat rooms as a 14-year-old girl, and found herself on the receiving end of overtures at first plain and genteel, but for the most part ultimately graphic and sexually perverse in nature. Former Frasier scribe Joe Keenan will exit Desperate Housewives at the end of this season, after just one round with the serial.
