Man v. Food host Adam Richman may have lost many battles against high-calorie foods — but he's won the war, having retired from extreme eating and dropping 60 pounds, People reports.
Adam Richman wants people to know that there's nothing mediocre about the sandwiches or the people who make them on his Travel Channel series Adam Richman's Best Sandwich in America.
"These guys are not slouches," he tells TVGuide.com on location at New York City's famous Katz's Deli. "They have prodigious culinary skill. They just choose to do little masterpieces on little handheld pieces of bread."
