Discovery has assigned an airdate to Human Planet, its next epic series in the vein of recent hits Planet Earth and Life. Fox's Glee led the winners of this year's Television Critics Association Awards, taking home statuettes for Program of the Year, Outstanding New Program and Individual Achievement in Comedy for Jane Lynch.
Modern Family (ABC) won Outstanding Achievement in Comedy, while Lost (ABC) and Breaking Bad (AMC) tied for the Outstanding Achievement in Drama prize. The group also recognized Julianna Margulies for Individual Achievement in Drama for The Good Wife (CBS).
