Life with Luigi

Ethnic sitcom about a newly arrived Italian immigrant's efforts to become an American. The Irish-American J. Carrol Naish had the title role during the show's first three months (he had also played Luigi on radio), but after a midseason hiatus, `Luigi' returned with new stars. Not for long: Its ethnic stereotyping scared off sponsors and it was gone after one season.
