Premise: Nickelodeon's first game show became---dare we say?---a sizably sticky success. Two teams of kids compete in two rounds of challenging trivia, gooey dares and retaliatory double dares. The team with the most points advances to a `slobstacle' course in which contestants have to endure the crème de la crème of green, sticky slime to become champions. Later variations of the show include `Family Double Dare' (which aired on Fox and Nickelodeon), `Super Sloppy Double Dare' and `Double Dare 2000.'
