He sets his sights on Lois and Chloe and even kidnaps Mia (Elise Gatien), but it's clear the Dark Archer didn't count on these ladies having more than one superhero to watch their backs. With Oliver on the verge of crossing the line, it's up to Clark to save the day.

The stories have been taut, and included genuine surprises — especially Ballard's unexpected exit last week. Tonight's two-hour block should continue that momentum until next month, when the final episodes are expected to air. First, Victor returns to the real world when his contract is up. Then, Echo faces a nightmare after she's deemed too dangerous.

Borrowing from the parlance of Dollhouse itself, Fox has decided to send the Joss Whedon series to the attic after its 13-episode run is up...and the network is hastening its departure by doubling up episodes this month. Tonight, the back-to-back episodes feature former Whedon hand Summer Glau (River from Firefly and Serenity) as Topher's D.C. Dollhouse counterpart, whose link to Echo results in a shocking reunion. Before that, however, Echo is assigned to stop Sen. Perrin's Dollhouse quest.
