Season 2 of Criminal Minds begins where Season 1 leaves off with the conclusion of "The Fisher King." Keith Carradine guest stars as a prolific serial killer who matches wits with Gideon. There is plenty for the members of the BAU team to deal with.
In Season 1, Jason Gideon leads the BAU team along with fellow profilers Aaron Hotchner, Elle Greenway, Derek Morgan, and genius-geek Spencer Reid.

Season eight begins with Alex Blake's (Jeanne Tripplehorn) first case with the BAU, in which the team travels to Texas after an ambulance carrying an UnSub known as "The Silencer" overturns on a highway. In their subsequent cases, the BAU travels to the West Coast after the bodies of two unrelated victims are dragged to their deaths behind cars, and the team struggles to find a link between four men who go missing. Meanwhile, Reid's personal and professional life collide as he becomes romantically attached to a scientist whom he only speaks to over the phone, but she may be harboring a dark secret.
Season 7, Episode 23 When the BAU goes up against a gang of serial-killing bank robbers in Washington, D.C., the team tries to negotiate the situation unfolding inside the bank, but the stakes rise when one of their own becomes a hostages. Guest stars include Josh Randall as Hostage Matthew Downs and Tricia Helfer and Evan Jones as bank robbers Izzy Rogers and Chris Stratton. Returning guest stars include Jayne Atkinson as FBI Section Chief Director Erin Strauss, Josh Stewart as Detective William LaMontagne, Jr., Nicholas Brendon as FBI tech analyst Kevin Lynch and Sebastian Roche as Interpol agent Clyde Easter.
