Sliders star disaster-movie style. The tragic collision of two locomotives on Nov. 3 will put several Port Charles lives in peril. The passengers onboard the terror trains will include newlywed Lucky Spencer; Sonny Corinthos and his girlfriend, Reese Marshall (
ding! ding! ding!); Jason Morgan and his girlfriend, Sam McCall; Mafia madman Manny Ruiz and pregnant attorney Alexis Davis. Also aboard will be Sonny's wacky ex-wife, Carly Corinthos Alcazar, who'll be played by
Guiding Light's
Laura Wright starting Nov. 4, as previously reported.
"The big collision is what happens emotionally," GH head writer Bob Guza teases TVGuide.com. "We use this crisis to create different couplings. There are some people who should be together and some who should not. Every single person comes out of this collision changed, and not always for the better." All in all, this soap plot sounds like watching a train wreck — only it's the good kind.
