Ingo Rademacher will definitely leave
General Hospital when his contract expires in May. What's more, TVGuide.com has learned that the role of Jax is being recast. The ABC sudser has sent out a casting call for "Hugo," a handsome bloke in his thirties who speaks with an Australian accent. An
extremely reliable source tells me, "Hugo, Schmugo. It's Jax."
The popular Rademacher joined
GH in 1996 as Aussie businessman Jasper "Jax" Jacks and romanced several leading ladies, most memorably
Vanessa Marcil's Brenda. He briefly left in 2000 to star on
Aaron Spelling's blink-and-you-missed-it prime-time soap
Titans, and returned to
GH the following year. The show's rep had no comment on Ingo's latest departure.
