Beware, Carmela!

Mama mia! Here I go again, uncovering some major soap dish: Italian-American sexpot Gina Tognoni (Dinah, Guiding Light) will get mobbed up in the sixth season of The Sopranos. Her mom, Sharon, posted the news on an Internet message board for devotees of "Jonah." (That's the fans' fanciful amalgamation of Jonathan and Dinah, the GL couple played by Tognoni and her real-life boyfriend Tom Pelphrey.) "[On July 14, Gina] shot The Sopranos. Her scenes were with James Gandolfini (Tony) and Edie Falco (Carmela)," Sharon revealed. "They loved her. She had a lot of dialogue with Tony and was there all day shooting her scenes."

An HBO rep confirms to TVGuide.com that Tognoni appears in Episode 4, adding that details on her character are strictly top-secret. The grumpy rep further hinted that Tognoni and her chatty mother will sleep with the fishes if they dare post any more Sopranos scoop on the Web before the series returns in March 2006. Oops!

But wait, that's not all: The controversial posting from Sharon (aka "Momma T") also revealed that Dinah "has a new love [in the works] on GL. She still has her Jonah scenes, but there is a new man who will make somebody really jealous." Hmm...
