Season 29, Episode 12 Fireworks!

First Aired: January 30, 2002

The hour traces its history to China 1,000 years ago. Marco Polo brought fireworks to Italy in the 13th century, and Italians have been at the forefront of pyrotechnics since. In the U.S., the Zambellis of Pennsylvania call themselves "the first family of fireworks," and displays are seen here, along with ones from Seattle and Boston.
