Zsa Zsa Gabor underwent successful hip replacement surgery, her husband, Frederic von Anhalt, told reporters outside their Bel-Air home Monday.
The Hungarian-American actress — a ubiquitous presence on television from the 1950s into the '80s, particularly on talk and game shows — had the operation at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
Anhalt said she was in good spirits, though still heavily sedated, according to The Associated Press.
Gabor, 93, fell while trying answer the phone Saturday night and broke her hip.
She will be in the hospital for at least four days as she recuperates.
