Who Said It: A Bachelorette Contestant or a Disney Prince?

They're shockingly similar

The guys on The Bachelorette talk about the woman whose affection they're competing for in fantastical, over-the-top romantic terms that are rarely heard outside of the sappiest love stories. They fancy themselves knights in shining armor, real-life Prince Charmings.

So it's no wonder that, when they talk about love, they sound like Disney princes more than anything else. Seriously, these guys are so cartoonish they should be voiced by H. Jon Benjamin. Some of them even have the square jaws and broad shoulders of handsome cartoon characters. The only way to tell the difference between the real boys and the animated princes is that the Bachelorette contestants are often willing to get a little racy.

TVGuide.com recently asked people on the streets of New York City if they could distinguish a Bachelorette quote from a Disney line. Based on what we found in the video above, it's probably not a coincidence that The Bachelorette is on Disney-owned ABC.
