The Great British Bake Off, Marvel's Luke Cage and more!
Spending the weekend indoors and not sure what to watch? TV Guide editor Krutika Mallikarjuna has a few suggestions. Here's what you should stream this weekend.
1. The Proposal
From The Bachelorcreator Mike Fleiss comes this new reality series hosted by former contestant Jesse Palmer. Ten women vie for a chance at love with a mystery suitor who will propose to one of the two remaining women by the end of the night. The series premiered Monday on ABC but you can stream it all weekend long through Hulu or the network's app.
Watch the mess unfold as inebriated comedians try their best to accurately recall events throughout history. This week's episode focuses on World War II and will see the gang tackle the incredible story of the brave Ghost Army, made up of Allied forces who were tasks with tricking German troops with fake transmissions and inflatable tanks. The episode originally aired Tuesday and you can stream it now on the network's app.
Marvel's bulletproof hero returns with a fresh new attitude. After clearing his name, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) is now a hero and celebrity in Harlem and he's fully accepted his role as the city's protector. However, he must face a mysterious new villain who appears to be equally strong and indestructible. Watch it all go down when Luke Cage returns for Season 2 Friday on Netflix.
5. Preacher
With Tulip (Ruth Negga) dead, Jesse (Dominic Cooper) will do everything in his power to bring her back, even if that means returning to Angelville where he's lived through some truly traumatic experiences. Season 3 finds the preacher confronting his past after asking his sinister Gran'ma for help resurrecting Tulip and that will come at a great cost. Find out what befalls the gang when Preacher returns for Season 3 Sunday at 10/9c on AMC.
