Grab your crazy-big hats and mint juleps — it's Derby Day!

The Kentucky Derby, the first leg in the race for the Triple Crown, will be broadcast live from Churchill Downs on Saturday starting at 4 pm/ET/1 pm/PT on NBC with a preshow and red carpet special. (The race itself is scheduled to begin at 6:24 pm/ET/3:24 pm/PT.) Wrap-up coverage of the big event will finish on HRTV. (Check your local listings for details.)
