Horror-master Wes Craven is working up some new scares for Syfy, with two horror shows in development for the network, EW reports.
Craven, who is responsible for A Nightmare on Elm Street and the Scream movies, is developing a reworking of his 1991 movie The People Under the Stairs, and a new project, We Are All Completely Fine. The two projects are part of a first-look deal between Craven and Universal Cable Productions.
The new incarnation of The People Under the Stairs follows "a young woman [who] goes missing at the grand Robeson Family Manor" and "centuries-old horrors that lie deep within the estate."

Meanwhile, We Are All Completely Fine shares the story of a psychologist, Dr. Jan Sayer, who "gathers survivors of five horror movie scenarios in a support group - and unwittingly unlocks the evils of her patients' pasts." The show is based on the 2014 book of the same name by Daryl Gregory. Craven will write and direct the pilot.
Craven is also developing a near future-set show called Disciples, and is an executive producer of MTV's Scream series, premiering June 30.
