According to Box Office Mojo, The Angry Birds Movie has come in at No. 1 at this weekend's box office, taking in an estimated $39 million. This ends Captain America: Civil War's three-week reign at the top, which came in second with a not unsubstantial $31 million.

Forget about the movies, why not add some new shows to your Watchlist?

As for the rest of the weekend, the Seth Rogen comedy Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising opened at No. 3 with $21 million (a strong opening for an R-rated comedy), Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling's The Nice Guys opened fourth with $11 million and The Jungle Book rounded out the top 5 also with $11 million, bringing its current total to $327 million at the domestic box office.

Sadly, George Clooney's Money Monster is anything but, dropping to the No. 6 spot after opening third last week. Perhaps this is one that should have waited until after the summer to be released.
