The Walking Dead: Who Didn't Survive The Governor's Assault on the Prison?

On Sunday's episode, The Governor (David Morrissey) rallies his new community to capture the prison. But Lilly (Audrey Marie Anderson) isn't too happy with his plan to take it by force, especially since he's kidnapped Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Hershel (Scott Wilson) to bolster his plans. The Governor genuinely seems to want no bloodshed, and when they arrive at the prison, he offers Rick an ultimatum: Vacate by sundown or he will kill his prisoners.

But Rick turns things around on The Governor, saying if a war starts, the prison will be damaged beyond repair. So, either they all live together in the prison, or no one does. But The Governor doesn't take Rick's offer, and instead slices Hershel's neck with Michonne's Katana sword. Lilly arrives with Meghan, who was killed by a walker, in time to see The Governor chopping Hershel's head off — and then saying his famous comic book line, "Kill them all!"

The Governor comes thisclose to killing Rick, but Michonne stabs him in the chest with her sword, keeping to her promise of killing him. But it's Lilly — like in the comics — that ultimately pulls the trigger and shoots him in the head before his last dying breath. The midseason finale ends with the surviving group members scattered and, even more disoncerting, baby Judith missing.
