Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey have both joined the pilot, Deadline reports.
The untitled spin-off from Robert Kirkman, who created the graphic novel upon which The Walking Dead is based, takes place during the same zombie apocalypse that Rick, Daryl, Carol and others have been fighting for five seasons now. It will revolve around a male divorced teacher and a female guidance counselor.

Dillane (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) and Debnam Carey (Into the Storm) will play the woman's children, a drug addicted son and ambitious daughter, respectively.
