Vikings has always been about family, but will Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) be able to hold his together?
Now that he and Ivar (Alex Høgh Anderson) have set sail for Wessex, Ragnar is finally beginning to bond with the son he once wanted to kill. Though they share intelligence (and those stunning blue eyes), there is one fundamental difference that could tear them apart.
"They have very different views on Christianity," Anderson tells TVGuide.com. "Ivar is very much Floki's (Gustaf Skarsgard) style, whereas Ragnar's best friend was a Christian."
With Ivar and Ragnar heading toward England, this could cause some strife for the pair, who will have to decide how best to deal with King Ecbert's (Linus Roache) betrayal and Ragnar's alleged son Magnus. But one thing's for certain: Ivar has no plans to follow in his father's democratic footsteps.
"He will never let anything stand in his way," Anderson says. "Ivar would never sit down and make a deal with Christians."
