In a twist so shocking it could have come out of one of Rob Thomas's own scripts, Hulu has dropped all of Season 4 of Veronica Marsa week earlier than expected!

Initially scheduled for release on Friday, July 26, the eight new episodes hit the streaming service Friday afternoon. The revival picks up five years after the movie and finds Veronica (Kristen Bell) investigating a series of deadly bombings during the month-long celebration of spring break. The bombings are threatening Neptune's tourism industry, and thus the livelihood of Neptune's quickly disappearing working class, of which Veronica and Keith (Enrico Colantoni) are obviously members, so naturally Veronica dives headfirst into solving the case.

Of course, that's not all there is to the new season. Everyone's favorite sleuth is also at a crossroads in her personal life. "Traditionally, there are a lot of stories about men coming to this crossroads in their life where ... the idea of family, a mortgage, kids is one direction and then freedom, irresponsibility, [and] 'do whatever I want' is the other direction," Thomas explained at the ATX Television Festival in June. "I was interested in putting Veronica at the crossroads."

The good news is, Logan (Jason Dohring) is now the stable and level-headed one in their relationship and he is more than willing to help Veronica through it all.

Also returning in the revival are Percy Daggs III as Veronica's best friend Wallace Fennel; Francis Capra as everyone's favorite biker with a soft side Eli "Weevil" Navarro; Max Greenfield as Veronica's former boyfriend and current FBI agent Leo D'Amato; Daran Norris as fan-favorite public defender Cliff McCormack, Ryan Hansen as party king Dick Casablancas; David Starzyk as Dick's father, Richard; and last but not least, Ken Marino as everyone's favorite skeezy private eye Vinnie Van Lowe.
