Did You Spot All the Veronica Mars Cameos in Season 4?

Veronica Marsblew up -- what, too soon? -- on Hulu this weekend after the streaming service dropped Season 4 a week early, and the new season was chock-full of callbacks to and cameos from the original series.

When the majority of an original cast manages to reunite not just for a movie, but an eight-episode season, it's easy to see that everyone involved in the project loved the show and the people involved. When the supporting cast who entered and exited the series more than 10 years ago make the effort to swing by for a role or a cameo in the new season -- you know you've got something really special in the making.

That's exactly the case for Veronica Mars Season 4, which received so many visits from previous bad guys and exes that it was almost hard to keep them all straight! Never fear, though! All the Best Veronica Mars Callbacks in Season 4

Hector

Though Hector (Patrick Wolff) was never front and center in the original series, he did make a few appearances here and there as one of Weevil's (Francis Capra) fellow PCHers. In Season 4, he maintains his position as Weevil's right-hand man.

Liam Fitzpatrick

Liam Fitzpatrick (Rodney Rowland), the leader of the Fighting Fitzpatrick family, was a minor character during Veronica Mars' original run. In the second episode of the season, he appeared as the owner of the vending machine rental company Matty (Izabela Vidovic) visits while trying to solve her dad's murder. When he brushes her off and she retaliates by defacing some of his machines, he and his henchman chase after her. Good thing Veronica showed up to save the day -- as always.

Tim Foyle

Veronica's (Kristen Bell) T.A. from college, Tim Foyle (James Jordan) turned out to be a murderer: Veronica sent him to prison for killing Dean O'Dell (Ed Begley Jr.) in an attempt to frame Veronica's professor (Patrick Fabian). In Season 4, Tim is still toiling away in prison when Veronica visits him to get information about Big Dick (David Starzyk) and Clyde Pickett's (J.K. Simmons) time in prison together.

Mercer Hayes

On that same trip to the Chino prison, Veronica interviews Mercer (Ryan Devlin) about Clyde, and he bemoans his long prison sentence as compared to other college rapists who barely got a slap on the wrist. This is an allusion to him terrorizing and raping women at Hearst College in Seasons 2 and 3 of the original series. He drugged, raped, and shaved the heads of half a dozen women on campus before Veronica finally caught him.

Max

Max (Adam Rose) found himself on the wrong side of Hearst rules when he was caught selling test answers -- a business that eventually got him expelled -- but he seemed to be doing all right when we checked in with him in Season 4. At a town hall meeting, Veronica bumps into Max and he tells her the new laws Big Dick is trying to enforce on the city would put his cannabis shop out of business.

Clarence Wiedman

Clarence Wiedman (Christopher B. Duncan) played a major role in Veronica Mars' first season as the head of security for Kane Software and for the Kane family. He turned into a bit of a hero when he killed Aaron Echolls (Harry Hamlin) on Duncan's (Teddy Dunn) orders after the former was acquitted of murdering Lilly (Amanda Seyfried). Wiedman returns again in Season 4 to play the good guy when Logan (Jason Dohring) calls him in as a security replacement after he was called up for duty. If Clarence had been running just a little bit late, Congressman Maloof (Mido Hamada) could have been killed in the attack at the Neptune Grand.

Parker Lee

Parker (Julie Gonzalo) and Logan briefly dated while Veronica was with Piz (Chris Lowell) in college, but things didn't work out for either of those couples (obviously). She pops up again in the final episode of Season 4, when Logan is registering for a marriage license on the same day she is dealing with some leftover issues stemming from her own divorce. We can't imagine a more brutal way to run into your ex.

Jake Kane

Duncan's dad may not have been Veronica's favorite person when she was in high school, but that didn't mean she was going to let him get blown up. In the Season 4 finale, Jake Kane (Kyle Secor) appears at the dedication ceremony for the new high school the city had opened in Kane's name just as Veronica rushes the stage while yelling for everyone to evacuate.

Mr. Clemmons

You may have thought Veronica's old high school vice principal, Mr. Clemmons (Duane Daniels), would have retired and moved to Florida by the time this new season rolled around, but as it turns out, the new high school made him an offer he couldn't refuse. He appears on stage at the dedication ceremony, praising Jake Kane for his contributions to the new school before Veronica busts in warning everyone about the bomb.
