Veep's Season 4 Trailer Is the Funniest Thing You'll Watch All Day
Hugh Laurie guest-stars in his first TV gig since House
Veep is one of the funniest shows on TV at the moment, and I have the video to prove it, because HBO released the first trailer for the show's fourth season on Friday.
In Season 4, Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Selina Meyer will be setting up shop in the Oval Office after becoming president on a technicality--the president stepped down to care for his ailing wife--and what she says goes, because as Mike points out in the trailer below, she's like a "real-life Mariah Carey."
Of course, this is Veep we're talking about, and Selina is still Selina, so the same hilarious problems that plagued her life as the veep are still present... it's just that now she faces even more pressure.
The trailer also offers a quick glimpse of Hugh Laurie in his first major TV role since House. Take a look:
