Val Chmerkovskiy's Dancing with the Stars Partner Is a Former Facts of Life Star

He's Valentin Chmerkovskiy, and she's Gloria Vanderbilt: ABC reports that the dance pro's partner on Season 27 of Dancing with the Stars will be actress Nancy McKeon, who's best known for playing Jo Polniaczek on the classic '80s sitcom The Facts of Life.

"We're only on day three, so he's saving a few things to come at me I think, but [he's] tough in a good way," McKeon said of her partner on Good Morning America. "Making sure that I have what I need to maybe keep up with him. I'm not certain it's all going to come together, but we're going to try."

McKeon is the second Facts of Life alum to compete for the Mirror Ball trophy; Kim Fields, who played Tootie Ramsey, made it to Week 7 on Season 22.

Chmerkovskiy has competed against his brother Maksim and his sister-in-law Peta Murgatroyd on previous seasons, and this season he's expected to compete against his fiancée, dance pro Jenna Johnson. We'll find out for sure when the full Dancing cast is revealed on GMA Wednesday, Sept. 12.

Dancing with the Stars Season 27 premieres Monday, Sept. 24 at 8/7c on ABC.
