USA is postponing the premiere of its series Shooter following last week's shooting in Dallas that left five police officers dead, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series will now premiere July 26 instead of the originally scheduled July 19."In light of recent tragic events and out of respect for the victims, their families and our viewers, we have decided to postpone the premiere date for the upcoming USA Network series Shooter to July 26," a spokesman for the network said.Starring Ryan Phillippe and Omar Epps, Shooter is an adaptation of the film of the same name. Shooter's pilot episode is mostly a remake of the first act of the original film, but also includes a harrowing shooting that's uncomfortably similar to recent real-world events. That episode included a shootout in a Vietnamese nightclub and was set to air just days after the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida.
