Rachel (Shiri Appleby) made a big move on Monday's UnREAL, going behind Quinn's (Constance Zimmer) back to rat her and Chet (Craig Bierko) out to Gary (Christopher Cousins).

Unfortunately for her, Rachel's power play backfired. Rather than pave the way for Rachel to claim ultimate power over Everlasting, she found herself demoted when the network brought in a new showrunner, Coleman (Michael Rady), to sort out the behind-the-scenes drama.

But in a funny twist of fate, Rachel will soon find herself falling for the man who took her job. And according to UnREAL creator Sarah Gertrude Shapiro, Rachel's relationship with Coleman will be unlike anything we've seen before.

11 reasons we miss Adam on UnREAL

"What we see in Coleman for the first time is a viable love interesting for Rachel," Gertrude-Shapiro tells TVGuide.com. "He's Jewish. He has a nice family. He went to a good school. He loves documentaries, which is how Rachel started out. And I think she can see a life with him. She can see a life that makes sense for the first time. Jeremy didn't quite make sense. Adam didn't quite make sense. But Coleman is the type of guy that Rachel might actually marry. And I think that's terrifying for her."

Of course, with Rachel being Rachel, the fact that Coleman is actually well-suited for her means her self-sabotage tendencies come out in full force. "She kind of falls apart because it's just a lot, you know? It's a lot to have somebody who you actually care about."

Are you excited to see Rachel truly fall in love for the first time?
