Twilight Author Stephenie Meyer Developing a Supernatural Series for Hulu

Twilight author Stephenie Meyer is in development with Lionsgate on a new one-hour series called The Rook for Hulu, as well as a yet-to-be-named British broadcaster, Deadline reports. Meyer will executive-produce the series, based on the novel of the same name by Daniel O'Malley.

In the novel, Myfanwy Thomas is a woman who loses her memory when she's found in a London park surrounded by bodies. She soon finds herself employed by a secret British agency that defends the country from supernatural forces.

O'Malley's sequel to the book, Stiletto, is due out next year.

Meyer famously sparked the world's obsession with vampires with the Twilight series, which recently marked its 10th anniversary. She previously worked with Lionsgate to bring Twilight to the big screen.
