Jonathan Prime / NetflixTired of asking a friend what's on TV tonight? Why not take a trip into the future and ask a robot?
We're happy to announce that you can now get TV Guide on any device that uses Alexa, Amazon's "intelligent personal assistant." Just subscribe to TV Guide's news briefing and you'll be getting our suggestions for what to watch every day in your daily briefing, in 60 seconds or less. And best of all, it's entirely free and very easy to set up.
Here's how to install it: In your Alexa app, hit the tab in the top left of the screen and select "Settings." Scroll down to "Alexa Preferences" and tap on "Flash Briefing." From there, select "Get more Flash Briefing content," and search for "TV Guide." Once you find the TV Guide briefing, click it and tap "Enable Skill." That's it! You're all set up. You can also find TV Guide's News Briefing on the web to install.
To use the news briefing, just say, "Alexa, what's the news?" or "Alexa, what's my news briefing?" and you'll hear one of our editors recommend your best bets for what to watch on television today.
Note: TV Guide's News Briefings are also available on Google Assistant.
