Wedding bells are ringing for Sarah (Amy Landecker) and Tammy (Melora Hardin) in Season 2 of Amazon's Transparent, which premieres on Dec. 11. But, in keeping with Pfefferman family tradition, the ceremony definitely doesn't go off without a hitch.
"[Sarah's] building anxiety leads to a panic attack," Landecker tells TVGuide.com. "She feels imprisoned. I think she thinks she's stuck, and that's what's freaking her out. You know, 'I can't get out.'"
Needless to say, when the moment of truth arrives, Sarah starts to have serious doubts about her hasty marriage proposal to Tammy at the end of Season 1.

"Sarah just needs to be by herself for a minute, and I don't think she knows how," Landecker tells TVGuide.com. "I think she is rushing from one thing to another thing to try to solve her lack of direction and connectivity to herself. And so, Tammy's just an explosive, sexy, controlling place for her to land, and not have to make decisions."
We won't give away what actually goes down at the wedding, but suffice it to say, the repercussions are far-reaching - namely for Raquel (Kathryn Hahn), who officiates the ceremony. "[The wedding] is the awakening, for her, to like, 'What have I gotten myself into with this family? They don't take anything as sacred here. I am so f---ed.'" Hahn says.
