Tracy Morgan Speaks for First Time Since Deadly Crash: "I Feel Strong"

For the first time since being involved in a fatal crash that left him in critical condition, comedian Tracy Morgan spoke publicly, and it looks like he's on the mend both mentally and physically.

Video shot Monday outside of Morgan's home shows the Saturday Night Live veteran walking to a car with the aid of a walker, and just before stepping into the vehicle, flashing a peace sign with a huge smile on his face.

As the car drove by reporters, Morgan said, "I'm OK. I feel strong. I love you. Thank you so much."

On June 7, Morgan was in a limo bus that was struck by a Wal-Mart tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike as he was returning home from a performance. Morgan's friend and fellow comedian James McNair, who was in Morgan's vehicle, was killed in the accident. Morgan suffered several broken bones and moved into a rehab facility in late June, which he was released from on July 12.

Morgan has since sued Wal-Mart for negligence. The driver of the truck, Kevin Roper, was allegedly awake for more than 24 hours straight preceding the accident.
