Dancing with the Stars
8/7c ABC
For the first time, the judges gave the contestant two scores last night — one based on the technical aspect and one based on the performance aspect of each dance. Of course, fans have their own criteria for voting, and we won't know who's going home tonight until those all-important fan votes are factored in. So far this season, each week has given us fresh faces in the bottom two, and that trend may continue. — Jennifer Sankowski
Lost

9/8c ABC
Now that the uniquely talented Desmond is back on board (Is he really on Widmore's side?), it appears as if the "Lost" end times are ready to begin. What's next? That's what has Hurley, the star of this episode, in such a dither. Meanwhile, Ilana and her crew are heading for Hydra Island. Don't expect what happens when they get there to be pretty. Since this is a Hurley-centric episode, look for Libby (Cynthia Watros) and Hugo's mom (Lillian Hurst). And, as a bonus, you get Michael (Harold Perrineau), too. — Paul Droesch
Melrose Place
9/8c CW
We're still waiting for word on whether this woefully underrated reboot will get the green light for Season 2. In the meantime, the first season wraps up with the anticipated showdown between the fierce Amanda and the equally fierce Ella. When Ella is fired from WPK, she refuses to go down without a fight. Laura Leighton reprises her role as Sydney Andrews, but it's unclear if she'll appear in a flashback or if she's back from the dead. With Sydney, you can't rule anything out. — Karen Andzejewicz

Deadliest Catch
9/8c Discovery
If you've been left feeling crabby ever since your favorite fishing reality show took a break last year, get your claws on the remote and flip over to the Discovery Channel for tonight's sixth-season opener. Fans who follow the show know that the seasons kick off with an annual captains' meeting, but this one's dramatically different in that one skipper crosses the line, and we don't mean fishing line. — Michael Chant
