In his first State of the Union speech, President Obama is expected to recap his administration's triumphs in 2009 (chief among them, from his perspective: preventing the Great Recession from turning into a depression) and outline his 2010 goals, which will likely include scaled-back health-care reform, tougher banking regulations and- — given that unemployment remains at 10 percent — job creation. Following the address, Virginia governor Bob McDonnell will offer the GOP spin on things. — Jeff Gemmill

Poor Kimber! First, she got herself caught up in the rift between Sean and Christian, and then last week she was dumped by both Christian and Mike Hamoui. No wonder she jumped off Hamoui's boat. Whether she's actually dead wasn't made clear, but we're likely to find out tonight, when her mother (Melanie Griffith) shows up. In any event, McNamara/Troy won't be a happy place, but Sean will be going to Africa with his humanitarian friend, Curtis Ryerson (George Newbern), won't he? — Paul Droesch
